The Jungle Book [2016 ]
The Jungle Book [2016] is an adventure/ fantasy film about an orphan boy raised in
the Jungle with the help of a pack of wolves , a bear and a black panther. The film is based on the book written by Rudyard Kipling.
The animal characters are voiced by famous actors such as Idris Elba, Scarlett Johansson, Bill Murray, Lupita Nyong, Christopher Walken and Ben Kingsley. Neel Sethi plays the title role of Mowgli.
Lyricist Richard M. Sherman wrote music and lyrics for this film. He also wrote songs for previous The Jungle Book [1967] .
Both Bill Murray and his older brother Brian Doyle Murray have voiced the same character " Baloo" in different movies. Bill Murray voices Baloo in this movie and his brother in The Jungle Book- Mowgli's Story[1998].
King Louie was an orangutan in The Jungle Book [1967] . In this film, he is a gigantopithecus which was an ancestor of the orangutan whose range included whose range included parts of India.
The Jungle Book [2016] is a live action adaptation of The Jungle Book [1967 ] . Filmmakers included elements from Rudyard Kipling's novel to make this film more adventurous and dangerous.
